TOUR ITINERARY
Day 01 : Pontianak - Arrival (D)
Upon your arrival at Supadion airport of Pontianak (West Borneo - Indonesia), our local representative will meet and greet you at the airport. Transfer to your hotel for accommodation check in. All your meals provided. Rest of your day free at leisure.
Day 02 : Pontianak - Saham Village (BLD)
Early morning drive to Kampung saham (about 120 kilometers from Pontianak). On the way we will pass many plantations, stop at the historical Taman Juang Mandor, a place where those who strived for freedom were buried as causalities of Dai Nippon's Navy in the Second World War. Afterwards we proceed to Kampung Saham. Lunch enroute, dinner at Longhouse. Overnight at local house
Day 03 : Saham Village - Pontianak (BLD)
In the morning, explore the surrounding or visit Kendayan's Farm where you can experience yourself the thrill of living in an authentic Kendayan Long House. Watch the Kendayan working in their farm. After lunch, return to Pontianak, stay at the hotel.
Day 04 : Pontianak - Departure (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, morning free at leisure till time to transfer to the airport for your next destination departure. |

EXPLORING DAYAK TRIBE
in West Kalimantan
One of the main attractions of West Kalimantan is the culture of its Dayak ethnic groups. Most Dayaks live in long houses along rivers which criss-cross the land. This province covers an area of 146,807 square km. Its low plains are swampy with more than 100 rivers playing a vital role in communications and the economy.
Scattered across the swamps are several lakes and villages, often linked by bridges. The provincial capital, Pontianak lies exactly on the Equator. It is a fast growing city divided into three parts by the Kapuas and Landak Rivers. Pontianak is the main gate to enter this province through Supadio Airport, 18 km from the city.
